Serie A: Title claimers keep the pace

No changes in the top 3 positions since Inter, Milan and Roma confirm their form and determination to hold on to their possibilities to win the title. Just 6 more games to go and after a consecutive 3 year dominance on the title, Inter can see the cup slip to one of the two rivals.

Mario Balotelli was finally called back in the Inter squad after the heated conflict with the special one, Jose Mourinho. It was since the away game to Chelsea that the 19 year old talent was taken off the squad. Waiting for an apology from his behalf, Balotelli missed a total of 5 matches. He is known for his poor behavior and as a consequence, his doggy relationship with Muorinho. With his absence and so many games to play during the week, Inter collected 5 points in the last 4 matches.  2 draws, a defeat and a win in the champions league fixture against CSKA Moscow. The young lad surely took his time in making a decision of approaching his coach. Mourinho showed his severity in not letting Super Mario get away with such a behavior all due to his not being part of the starting line-up recently.

Yesterday the apologies arrived and as punctual as ever Jose placed him in the starting line-up against Bologna in sign of forgiveness. Super Mario responded with a top performance and a goal from a excellent low cross by Diego Milito. The Brazilian midfielder Thiago Motta opened the dances with a strike from outside the box and later closed all hopes for Bologna thumping in the third goal of the match.
3-0 the final score as Inter give a clear signal that they are not giving any chance to their chasers.

Roma'a coach Claudio Ranieri put in for the first time together the trio Totti-Vucinic-Toni. The result showed a positive play and a Vucinic-Toni one two exchange, saw the Montenegrin striker score his 10th goal of the season. Bari gave in a good fight but was not able to get their equalizer. 1-0 the scored remained and 1 point away from leaders of the Serie A, Inter Milan.

Champions League

What an exciting week it has been for the soccer fans! All the champions league results are finally out, some of the fans are partying to glory while others are biting their nails for the missed qualification to the quarter final phase. Some great results came out. On one side Real Madrid have been knocked out of the competition and on the other hand teams like Cska Mosca have passed the stage. How can we forget the 4-0 thrashing given to Ac Milan by the red devils at home and the perfect match played by Inter Milan to knock Chelsea out from Stamford bridge itself.

This is soccer mates....you cannot rely on any score, the best team is not always the winner, all we can guess before the game begins, is that the ball is round and there are 22 lions in the field hungry for a result with supporters in the stadium and around, hoping to see their team win. The supporters in the stadium wearing their favorite player's shirts coming from all over the world, the cook in the restaurant carelessly frying the vegetables not taking his eyes off the screen, the married man stuck on his couch at home not helping his wife to clear up the plates, the mother scolding her children to get over with their homework before seen the game.... how many times will we see these scenes again and again and again. This is a fact. No one can ever change how certain things go. When passion and dreams come together..with hopes at stake, fantasies running all over your mind the time just comes to a halt.

Here are all the Champions league results of both home and away games!
