Mario Balotelli was finally called back in the Inter squad after the heated conflict with the special one, Jose Mourinho. It was since the away game to Chelsea that the 19 year old talent was taken off the squad. Waiting for an apology from his behalf, Balotelli missed a total of 5 matches. He is known for his poor behavior and as a consequence, his doggy relationship with Muorinho. With his absence and so many games to play during the week, Inter collected 5 points in the last 4 matches. 2 draws, a defeat and a win in the champions league fixture against CSKA Moscow. The young lad surely took his time in making a decision of approaching his coach. Mourinho showed his severity in not letting Super Mario get away with such a behavior all due to his not being part of the starting line-up recently.Yesterday the apologies arrived and as punctual as ever Jose placed him in the starting line-up against Bologna in sign of forgiveness. Super Mario responded with a top performance and a goal from a excellent low cross by Diego Milito. The Brazilian midfielder Thiago Motta opened the dances with a strike from outside the box and later closed all hopes for Bologna thumping in the third goal of the match.
3-0 the final score as Inter give a clear signal that they are not giving any chance to their chasers.
Roma'a coach Claudio Ranieri put in for the first time together the trio Totti-Vucinic-Toni. The result showed a positive play and a Vucinic-Toni one two exchange, saw the Montenegrin striker score his 10th goal of the season. Bari gave in a good fight but was not able to get their equalizer. 1-0 the scored remained and 1 point away from leaders of the Serie A, Inter Milan.
Milan this time did not give a poor performance against a tough Cagliari side, showing they still are in the race for the title as motivated as ever. Borriello took just 7 minutes to put Milan on the lead. Ronaldinho was not in particular form but this time it was Huntelaar who decided to take control of the situation with a 30 mt screamer ending on the top corner of the goal, leaving Cagliari's keeper Marchetti glued to the spot. The Sardinians were no spectators and responded well after an error from Pirlo, hitting Milan on a counter-attack. Goals from Ragatzu and Matri put the teams on level again. To Milan's fortune, an own goal from defender Astori after an error from the keeper, brought the rossoneri 3 valuable points. 2-3 was the final score.
If nothing changed in the top 3 positions of the table, a lot of options lay open for 4th place. A hard clash between Palermo, Sampdoria, Napoli and Juventus will be the decider. Juventus could have made things easier had they not lost in their away match to Udinese. Definitely a 3-0 loss is a sound thrashing for a team of their caliber. This confirms the negative moment the team is being passing recently.
